Photoshop is the tool with which I have the most experience. I would probably categorize myself as an advanced Photoshop user. Here, some of my best creations are listed, to allow you to judge for yourself.

The black iPod created here was one of my first projects intending to make realistically looking objects.
I didn't at any point use eyedropper, copy & paste or anything like it. This iPod was created with Photoshop CS2. All I used for help was a guidance image from Apple's website.
I personally think it turned out pretty well. Very well, actually.

iPods aren't new in Photoshop but I thought I'd have a go at creating one myself, without the use of tutorials or copy & pasting from actual photos.
Thus, the black iPod you see above was born.
This white iPod is merely a small edit of the black one, which I had a lot of fun making. I don't really like the outcome of the white as much as the black one, it just doesn't seems as realistic.
I do like it, but I personally think I did better on the black iPod.

This was really a swift job of mere two hours.
I did have a lot of trouble in some places, like on the little 'pad' in the middle, the battery (where I was forced to copy the gradient - the shape is original though) and the bevel.
I learnt stuff while making this though, like using the pen tool properly.
I know this isn't as great as e.g. the iPods, but I thought it was all right anyway. The source can be found here.

At first, I never thought making this was possible. Even so, I tried, and this is what I came up with.
Everything here is made from scratch, except the wallpaper and the dock (which was ripped from an image on Apple's website.
It wasn't that difficult really - I sort of liked the outcome, but I guess I could have done better.

Why did I create this? I don't know, I guess it's because I'm an Apple fanboy (which you probably already noticed - the website design, the two other iPods and the iBook...), so why not create more of their stuff?
That's exactly what I did. You can't click it though, because it is full size - and the size is just about 1:1.
Again, I don't know why I made it. You can snatch this image and use it elsewhere, as long as you include a small notice that I made it along with a link to my website.
